Question: What is the evidence for efficacy of medication for treatment of ADHD in people with a learning disability?

Answer:

No directly relevant studies were found to answer this question, therefore no clinical implications can be made. A number of studies were found that examined the efficacy of medication therapies for adolescents with ADHD and a learning disability, however non that concerned adults. Two high quality systematic reviews were found that supported the lack of evidence for adults, these are referenced for information purposes.
